Where to even start?

I’ve been in a very long moving process this last month. Finally getting settled into my new place, I’m at a loss for how to catch you all up on things, so I won’t. If you follow me in other outlets then you have seen all my updates and projects. If not, I am going to try and keep you guys more up to date on here as well.

Other than that, I want to say thank you to everyone who ordered one of the EDC designs. It was an amazing learning process getting feedback and questions from so many people about the clothing a designs. If you ordered one then you are up to date with the goings on of the project and if not, then you’ll have to wait till after EDC to see things.

Ready for the Carnival…

This year for EDC, I put together a small collection of graphics inspired by the festival and the vibes I want to see around the speedway.

The whole project began with the logo. As we have done in the past, I created a special version taking influences from Las Vegas, and more importantly, from all aspects of EDC. Inside this print, you will find a digital representation of every stage on the raceway. These images include a flashcard with the equation for kinetic energy which represents the Kinetic Field, the ferris wheel we all know and love, and many more of the amazing facets that make EDC wonderful.

As some of you may have seen in the Beyond Wonderland shirts, these tanks will also be tie-dyed individually by hand, by me. It’s a more hands on process and takes more time per shirt, which is why there is a price increase for this design. I went with the yellow color on the white shirt to resemble the typical daisy and give it just that much more of an individual look. These tanks are $20 + $6 shipping to anywhere in the US.

The next design I’m offering is one to spread our LLOVE even further. With this tee, we invite everyone in and make them honorary members of the crew.

Inspired by an 80′s fitness tee I saw awhile back in a flea market, the graphic is BOLD. The power of the first word taking over the whole shirt, while being subtly accented by the second, I wanted “LLOVE” to be the message and the “crew” to be an addition. The bright colors and white tank make this a shirt you can rock all summer long.

These tanks are $17 + $6 shipping anywhere in the US.

The final design is inspired by Kaskade lyrics. This phrase is one that I sing over and over in my head all the time, and I just thought it was time that the world should spread the message with me. To wear as encouragement or as a self-statement, this shirt is meant to inspire those on the dance floor into the early light.

With a gradient in the text, I wanted to imply look at the colors, signifying the dusk-till-dawn hours of the raceway. Keep the vibes goin’ and “Don’t Stop Dancing, Girl.”

This tank is $20 + $6 shipping.

Shipping is USPS priority mail $6 for 1, $9 for 2 shirts and $11 for all 3.

With all my projects, I have friends asking how they can help, what they can do, and how they can be a part of them. Well, this is how.

Differently from other projects, I am making this one available to everyone, and not just those going to the show with me. I always have people asking for shirts after the fact, and I almost never have extras. With this project, there’s no missing out.

Venturing back…

A month late on this post, but nevertheless…
This year for Beyond Wonderland, I designed a special version of the logo, but in the end, it wasn’t able to be produced. I didn’t let that hold me back, though. I previously created some hand-dyed shirts for the design, so I decided to do a special color version of the regular logo for all my friends attending.

All the shirts were individually dyed, so they are all different in some way. I used tie-dye techniques for the first time, and I love how they turned out.

Like most projects I do, this was a one-time print job. These colors will not be used again.

Don’t stop, one day you will win…

Supporting those you believe in: we all do it, or at least we try. We see people doing something we like or love, and we encourage more of it. With so many social media facets in life, it is both easy and hard to establish relationships with those around you, and even those you look up to. It’s easier for them to take an interest and become a fan of yours, as well.

Now, I have been a fan of Gregory Siff since I saw his first scribble on a wall in Hollywood. I thought, “Wow. That face speaks for so many things, and it looks like it was done in one fluid motion without a care in the world.” His use of primary colors and even more prominent use of black and white, drew me into his walls like I couldn’t believe. Over time, we connected. We circulated “likes”, links, messages and emails; sharing in the art and life around us.

This past week, I had the chance to go out and support him once again. It turned into what you see here: a wild night of lights, drinks, girls and paint, culminating in the making of a one-of-a-kind pair of “Rough and Greedy Nike Hyperfuse Dunks”.

I couldn’t be happier with my shoes, and I seriously can’t thank Greg enough for all his support.

Inspiration is the key to most of my projects. I am inspired by a person, a message, a theme, a belief, or anything that can give it. When creating this project, that was constantly in the forefront of my mind. Especially, being able to print this by hand, really bringing things into this final stage of creation all the way from the first line sketched on the paper.

I only printed 6 of these shirts (3 green guys shirts and 3 tan girls tanks) making this one of the most limited projects created yet.

It was also a turning point for me because this is the first project I’ve done silk screening posters. It was only a one color simple print but it gives way to many more ideas for the future. Very Limited quantities available in the Store here.

All the posters are hand numbered in small editions. There will also be a couple (2-3) hand painted detailed posters added to the site very soon.

The show was remarkable. Its been well over a year since I last saw Feed Me in this same theater. No teeth and just 2 spray painted shirts for the show. I’d say we’ve both come a long way since then …

Near the end of last year, I posted about the Hello Kitty Skrillex graphic I created. Clarifying for everyone that I understand I did not come up with the concept or image of hello kitty or the idea around picturing someone famous in a Hello Kitty form.

Simply put, this was my version of the art in a skrillex form. There are other versions, differnt bow, same hair, different glasses, etc. Point being, in Los Angeles, these are mine. If you’ve seen it on a sticker. That is because of me. Having said that, I gave John (12th Planet) a couple stickers at Control last week with a little surprise. The night continues as usual, till 5 am. When this picture, courtesy of Flinch, comes into my instagram feed.

To say I was ecstatic, would be an understatement. I was through the roof. Sonny wearing a sticker I created inspired by him at his after party, was this real life? is it still?

Then Skrillex posted this on his instagram just over 4 days ago now.

I woke from a nap to a friend on facebook saying “check your instagram ” I see 20 missed everything messages from all social media circles and personal texts/calls on my phone as I open the app to this picture. This one. Which is now above 38 THOUSAND likes. It blows my mind.

Did I get credit from him? No but, how would he know to give me credit? All my friends shouted me out multiple times over the follow days to make sure people knew who it was and who knows, maybe Sonny saw the name so many times all it takes is one more to make it stick.

What I mean is, Credit is given where its due. I don’t want to be known or recognized for this design alone but that doesn’t mean I don’t want people to notice.

On the road to EDC …
